James Marshall

Authors & Ideas: James Marshall, documentary film producer – My America – The Perception Gap

Saturday: 4:00 PM – March 3, 2018, Cultural Arts Center

James Marshall is an artist, adventurer, entrepreneur and Emmy-nominated writer, producer and filmmaker.

After leaving an unfulfilling corporate career, James made a promise to himself: To be a Doer; to live as a “contemporary adventurer” and take risks, do what was fulfilling and made him happy.

For his two docu-series “The American Dream Project” (Netflix) and “American Doers” (The People Entertainment Network) James sought to change the narrative and provide a counterbalance to the barrage of negativity hitting Americans every single day.

He challenged himself to climb several mountains, including Europe’s Mont Blanc and has run several marathons including the world’s toughest race, Morocco’s Marathon Des Sables – 6 marathons in 5 days, through the Sahara Desert, while navigating and carrying all of his own food and supplies

James continues to explore his interests and passions
