Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park

About the Main Venue – Count de Hoernle Amphitheater

Constructed and opened in November 2002, The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park boasts the Count de Hoernle Amphitheater, an open-air venue that will play host to all of the Festival’s musical performances.

The concert green, a plaza by day and the central viewing area of the amphitheater stage during performances, is surrounded by a two-level colonnade. The green provides access to the art museum on the west and a place for people to congregate during the day and evening when there are no performances, in the style of the great plazas of Europe.

Specifics:

  • The amphitheater with a colonnade and concert green can accommodate up to 4,200 people both VIP and general ticket seating. Approximately 3,200 seats will be provided for the Festival.
  • Located at the north end of Mizner Park, next to the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
  • 2,440 square feet of stage performance area (5,885 square feet with wings)
  • Air-conditioned or heated stage composed of approximately 3,600 square feet
  • Sophisticated installed sound and light system
  • Festival events will be presented in the Festival tent — a clearspan tent with a floor area of 22,000 square feet (the area of the entire Amphitheater Concert Green or 1/2 of the area of a football field).
