Constructed and opened in November 2002, The Schmidt Family Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park, a non profit organization, boasts the Count de Hoernle Amphitheater, an open-air venue that will play host to most of the Festival of the Arts BOCA's musical performances.

The Cultural Arts Center is located at the southern end of Mizner Park across the street from Rob & Stuckey and above ZED451. The Cultural Arts Center is the host for most of the Festival's literature program and smaller musical performances.



  • The Amphitheater accommodates a capacity crowd of 4,200 people. Approximately 3,000 seats will be provided for the Festival.

The Schmidt Family Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park Amphitheatre and Cultural Arts Center, are approximately 50 minutes from Miami, 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale and 25 minutes from West Palm Beach. The Amphitheater is located on the east side of US1 / Federal Highway between Palmetto Park Road and Glades Road next to the Boca Museum of Art. The Cultural Arts Center is located east of Federal Highway, adjacent to N.E. Second Street on the second floor.

From I-95:
Glades Road Exit East. Head east on Glades Road to US1 / Federal Highway. Make a right turn onto US1 / Federal Highway and head south for approximately a ½ mile. The Amphitheater, Cultural Arts Center and parking area will be on the east (left) side of the street.
